<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten incommunicable time of a PVC path that has large traffic by resetting the PVC path that has large traffic before a PVC path that has small traffic based on retention information. SOLUTION: PVC path resetting processing executes hardware initialization an ATM exchange switch 110, extracts an important subscriber traffic path number that is registered on an important subscriber traffic path database 125, extracts a subscriber side VPI/VCI and a relay side VPI/VCI by retrieving a PVC path information database 124 with the extracted PVC path number and finally requests the switch 110 for PVC path connection. Then, as for subscribers who are registered on a general subscriber high traffic path database 127, an important subscriber low traffic path database 126 and a general subscriber low traffic path database 128, PVC path resetting processing is performed for separate registrations.</p> |
