<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a temperature sensor for controlling battery performance replaceable. SOLUTION: A sensor fixing hole 22 is formed in the top wall 17a of a battery case 17, a temperature sensor unit 21 is detachably inserted into the sensor fixing hole 22 and fixed, and the tip of a temperature detecting part of the temperature sensor unit 21 is brought into contact with battery cells 16 within the battery case 17 to detect the temperature of the battery cells 16. Even if the temperature sensor unit 21 malfunctioned, only the temperature sensor unit 21 is replaceable without replacing the temperature sensor unit 21 together with a battery 15, and therefore, cost is greatly reduced.</p> |
