PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide three-dimensional image generating method and device capable of clipping a polygon object while holding the texture of the object without visualizing the inside of the object. SOLUTION: At the time of clipping a polygon object, a face register 1 is referred to, whether the direction of a polygon constituting a pixel being processed at present is front or rear at the time of observing it from a screen side is judged, and when the polygon is turned to the front, the luminance of the pixel is obtained by shading calculation and stored in a frame buffer memory 7. When the polygon is turned to the rear side, the luminance of a prescribed rear face is stored in the memory 7. |
