<p>There is provided a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment or prophylaxis of constipation, the composition including or consisting of colchicine and at least one amino-salicylic acid derivative. The invention also provides a method for the treatment or prophylaxis of constipation in a mammal in need of said treatment or prophylaxis, including administering to the mammal an effective amount of colchicine and an effective amount of at least one amino-salicylic acid derivative.</p> |
