A method for enhancing the plants own resistance is achieved by inducing the plant resistance of the cultured plants and/or the seed culture and killing the plant pest organism by applying a plant extract (I) obtained from Hippophane rhamnoides, Pyracantha coccinea, Prunus padus, Cannabis sativa, Calendula officinalis and Artemisia vulgaris.
