Hollow charge ammunition

The armour piercing hollow charge has a leading explosive charge and a following hollow charge which is activated in a given time span after the detonation of the leading charge. The secondary hollow charge (15) is foamed (19) directly into the shell body (12). A ring (20) to secure the shrouding (18) of the main hollow charge (15) and a ring (21) to mount the safety unit is foamed with the charge. The secondary charge is foamed using a twin-component polyurethane foam (19).
