Floor panel with bar pattern formed by wood veneer layer

The wood strips (7,8) are glued to a support plate. The wood veneer layer (5) has two adjacent rows (3, 4) of wood strips, between which a sealed seam (20a) is provided. The panel has a first long narrow side and a face side with a groove. The second long narrow side opposite to the first long narrow side as well as the second face side opposite to the first face side each have a tongue. The upper side of the panel is coated with a wear-proof lacquer. The support plate of the panel may consist of aluminium and/or plastics. On the under side of the support plate opposite to the upper side a counter draught layer is provided.
