The accommodation chamber extends crossways to the work direction of the tool (2). A rear wall of the catchment device (1) locates during the work process at least partly against the wall on which the work is being effected. The catchment device has at least one holding part (12) for retention on the wall during the work process. This holding part is adhesive. The holding part is provided on a rear wall section (11) extending upwards over the inlet aperture. The holding part forms a closure part for the catchment device, which in its closed position is adhered to the front side of the device. The catchment device is pocket-shaped, with foldable side walls.
