VGA signal conversion method for Video system

The method involves converting RGB signals into intensity signals and a first chrominance signal and a second chrominance signal in scanning lines. The mean value of the scanning lines in horizontal direction and in vertical direction is formed. Preferably, after forming the mean value in horizontal direction, the scanning lines of the first and the second chrominance signals are reduced. The mean values of the first and the second chrominance signal in vertical direction is formed.
