The adjustment device comprises a girth strap (4) which is wrapped around the lower batten (1) and is guided centrally by the upper batten (2), to which it can be fixed. The girth strap guided through a long hole (3) in the upper batten is also wrapped around the upper batten. On the under side of the upper batten it is adjusted in length by means of a variable fixable Velcro (RTM) union (5) between the girth strap and the batten.
