In-circuit emulation circuit for microcontroller

The in-circuit emulation circuit has 2 similar microcontrollers (2,3) incorporating switching logics (9,9') provided with different settings, with an external memory (4) holding the operating programme. The similar terminals of both microcontrollers are coupled together and connected to the memory data and address terminals (D,AH,AL), the remaining microprocessor terminals coupled to an application system. The working programme is extracted from the memory via the function unit of one microprocessor, with control of the traffic to the second microprocessor terminals.
