Steel column 30 composed of an outer tube 40, an inner tube 50, two retaining elements 60, 70, a position- delimiting element 45, a fastening element 80 and an elastic element 84. The inner tube 50 is introduced into the outer tube 40 such that the inner tube can be extended and retracted and the extended inner tube is positioned by the gripping device of the retaining elements 60, 70. The retaining elements are limited in displacement by the position-limiting element 45. The fastening element 80 serves for coupling and uncoupling the retaining elements so as to be able to retract the extended inner tube. The elastic element 84 allows the retaining elements 60, 70 to become uncoupled from the inner tube. <IMAGE> |
