<p>A process for continuously producing polyesters by continuously melt-polymerizing starting materials composed of a dicarboxylic acid mainly comparing an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid, an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, or an ester-forming derivative of such acids and a diol component, characterized by condensing the diol component which is a distillate containing an adherent substance in a polycondensation reaction, removing the adherent substance by centrifugation, distilling the remaining diol component, and subjecting the obtained distillate to esterification or transesterification.</p> |
