PURPOSE: To surely guide a vehicle at a crossroads by providing direction data on a road for going out against an access road connected to each other at the crossroads and outputting guiding information based on the direction data. CONSTITUTION: A present location detector 2 calculates the present location of its own vehicle. In addition, an input-output device 1 which calculates a route and informs the driver of the vehicle of the information about the route and an information storing device 3 which stores all data required for guiding routes are provided. The CPU 40 of a central processing unit 4 calculates the route based on the information inputted from an inputting means, temporarily stores the calculated route in a RAM 42, and controls the guidance by outputting the information about the route to an outputting means. The central processing unit 4 outputs the information based on crossroads data stored in the storing device 3 and the direction data on a road for going out against an access road connected to each other at a crossroads. |
