<p>The present invention relates to tubes for checking alcohol presence in breath based on color reaction of alcohol with chromogenic agent in sulfuric acid medium. The invention is characterized in that the charge contains an oxidant based on pentavalent or heptavalent iodine within the range of 0.5 to 5 percent by weight of mixture, 95 to 98 percent sulfuric acid being present in amount of 30 to 55 percent by weight of the mixture, a catalyst being present in the form of nitrate ions and in amount ranging from 0.1 to 2 percent by weight of the mixture, 82 percent phosphoric acid amounting within 0.1 to 19 percent by weight of the mixture and as a carrier silica gel contained in amount of 25 to 70 percent by weight of the mixture.</p> |
