Laser sub-mount

摘要

A method of manufacturing substrates for laser diodes and similar opto-electronic devices. The substrates have a bi-level configuration with at least two isolated metal contacts extending continuously between the two surfaces. The method permits mass production of such substrate from a plate of substrate material. A substrate resulting from the method is also described.
