Pressure injection-moulded plug completed by secondary injection

The pressure injection-moulded plug (1) is completed by secondary injection moulding. The primary section (2) is first injection-moulded. The main body (3) is then injected-on around it. The surfaces of the primary moulding are covered by those of the secondary injection moulding. Preferably, the connector has many terminals and/or pins (4, 6). Primary moulded surfaces, from which the connections project, lie within the surfaces of the main body formed by injection moulding. The connector has a support wall carrying many pins. The main body has a fastening section for the connections. A passage in the support wall facilitates molten resin flow, during the second injection.
