Sliding gates (2, 22) for the loading bay of access scaffolding are supported on rollers (6,fig.2) by offset rails (3, 23), the rails being attached to the scaffold structure (30) in a parallel array. The gates (2, 22) are normally side by side, in the closed position, but can be slid horizontally along the rails (3, 23) to either side, so that one gate (2) is positioned behind the other gate (22) and access can be gained to the loading bay. |
