PURPOSE:To enhance the deodorizing effect to various malodors and to improve the lasting properties of deodorizing capacity by supporting a deodorant composition wherein porous substance and an oxidizing agent are compounded in predetermined amounts by a proper carrier to form a deodorizing sheet. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined amount of porous substance consisting of 5-80mol.% of SiO2, 5-65mol.% of MOn/2 (wherein M is Zn, Cu, Ag, Co, Ni, Fe, Tl, Ba, Sn or Zr and n is a valency of each of the aforementioned metals) and aluminosilicate having a composition corresponding to 1-60mol.% of Al2O3 is compounded with a predetermined amount of an oxidizing agent to prepare a deodorant composition. This deodorant composition is dispersed in a synthetic resin such as polyethylene and the resulting mixture is stretched in a definite direction at predetermined temp. using a film forming machine to form a deodorizing sheet. As the aforementioned oxidizing agent, chlorine dioxide and sodium hypochlorite are pref. designated. |
