PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of suppressing the static electricity of tires or vehicles by including rubber of tire-constituting element, silica, and extraconductive carbon black in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This composition comprises about 100 pts.wt. of at least one kind of tire-constituting element rubber produced from a conjugated diene monomer, a combination of the conjugated diene with one or more kinds of vinyl- substituted aromatic monomers and optionally ethylene and propylene monomers, or a combination of ethylene, propylene and a non-conjugated diene, about 20-90 pts.wt. of silica such as fumed silica, hydrated silica, preferably precipitated silica, and extraconductive carbon black (preferably having a BET surface area of 500 m<2> /g) in an amount effective for showing a volume resistivity of <=10<8> ohm.cm (usually an amount of about 8-50 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the rubber, when conventional carbon black is not used). |
