PLASTISOL COMPOSITION, MOLDING MATERIAL AND MOLDING ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in compatibility of an acrylic resin with a plasticizer and viscosity stability of plastisol and capable of stably and readily molding and processing by using an acrylic resin in which a small amount of a resin having large particle diameter is mixed. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a powdery acrylic resin and (B) a plasticizer and the component A is a resin having >=2 peaks, preferably a peak of a resin having <10μm particle diameter and a peak of a resin having 10-500μm particle diameter in the particle diameter distribution curve. The component A is preferably a homopolymer or copolymer of methyl methacrylate and preferably comprises 90-60 wt.% resin having <10μm average particle diameter and 10-40 wt.% resin having 10-500μm average particle diameter. The component B is preferably a benzoic acid ester. A molding article such as a wall covering material, a floor material or a toy can be provided by using the composition in a molding or processing method such as spread coating or dip molding.
