摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polynucleotide useful for producing a human G protein-coupled receptor effective for treating and preventing infection, cancer, etc., containing a sequence having high identity with a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide containing a specified amino acid sequence. SOLUTION: This new isolated polynucleotide has a nucleotide sequence containing at least 80% identity with a nucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide of the formula or a fragment corresponding to it or a nucleotide sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence and is useful for producing a human GPR14 encoding a human G protein coupled receptor (human GPR14) and effective for preventing and treating infection with bacterium or virus such as HIV, cancer, asthma, Parkinson's diseases, hypertension, osteoporosis, myocardial infarction, allergy, schizophrenia, etc. The polynucleotide is obtained by screening a human placenta library by using a fragment in a coding domain of sewer rat orphan receptor as a probe.
