FIELD: mining industry; stoping cutter-loaders. SUBSTANCE: telescopic head has drive secured on frame whose sides are provided with projecting cantilever sections end head, support plate, intermediate member, hydraulic jacks installed on frame at both sides of drive and coupling with frame by their housings and by rods, with support plate. Frame is installed together with drive on support plate for longitudinal displacement and forming clearance between end faces of chute of end section and support sheet of frame which divides frame space into upper and lower channels. Intermediate made in form of hollow rectangular-section guide is enclosed into frame lower channel for engagement with inner surface of channel and is connected with end section. Clearance formed after displacement of frame through definite step at extension is overlapped by insert whose length depends on required elongation or shortening of conveyor. At elongation of stoping face, frame with drive is moved by hydraulic jacks in support plate grips through value depending on value L of conveyor elongation. Frame is displaced relative to hollow guide, and movable part of side, along longitudinal slots through length corresponding to conveyor elongation value L.
