PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a so-called matte high performance heat transfer image receiving sheet having a few surface luster due to the unevenness of a receiving layer, which is formed by dry painting a powdered paint composition and on which a releasing layer is formed by wet painting and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This heat transfer image receiving sheet is used for a heat transfer recording, in which the dye or ink of a heat transferring sheet is heat- transferred to the heat transfer image receiving sheet by heating the heat transferring sheet under the state that the heat transferring sheet having a heat transferable dye or ink layer and the heat transfer image receiving sheet are piled up. In this case, the heat transfer image receiving sheet has a receiving layer made of a powdered paint composition including a first dye- or ink- receiving resin on a base material sheet and, at the same time, has a releasing layer made of a second resin having a releasability from the heat releasing sheet on the receiving layer. The releasing layer can also be produced by applying a reactive curing silicone oil on the receiving layer and then drying it so as to form its hardened matter. |
