<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer printer employing a color ink ribbon in which wrinkle of ribbon, uneven print, white out, and the like, are prevented when a color ribbon of different color is employed. SOLUTION: A data table tabulating the data of the color of ink ribbon and corresponding thermal energy for printing is prestored in a memory of a control means for a thermal transfer printer. At the time of printing, a control means selected a data of thermal energy for printing corresponding to the color of ink ribbon being used for printing from the data table and supplies a thermal print head 46 with a thermal energy for printing based on the data.</p> |
