SUBSTANCE: electric oven has housing with working chamber accommodating food holding appliances and at least one electric heater connected to current supply, control unit, and heat-to-infrared-ray converters, as many as there are electric heaters, each made in the form of shell placed around respective heater whose external surface layer is of following composition, mass percent: K<SB>2</SB>O - 0.8-1.2; Na<SB>2</SB>O - 0.3-0.6; Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB> - 25-32.9; SiO2 - 55.5-58.6, ferric oxides - 0.8-1.2; nickel oxides - 0.21-0.26; filler - the rest; internal converting surface layer of shell is of following composition, mass percent: K<SB>2</SB>O - 0.12-0.15; Na<SB>2</SB>O - 0.17-0.21; MgO - 2.0-2.2; SiO<SB>2</SB> - 0.5-0.7; ferric oxides - 1.5-2.1; nickel oxides - 0.2-0.4; filler - the rest. Internal-layer filler is of following composition, mass percent: rare-earth elements - 72-78; chromium - 15-18.8.
