PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain superior sensitivity and shelf stability, by adding to a recording material containing a coloring dye one kind of diphenyl sulfone-crosslinking compound expressed by a hydrocarbon group that can include a specific count of carbons through saturated, unsaturated or ether binding, and one kind of hydroxy diphenyl sulfone derivative. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording material contains at least one kind of diphenyl sulfone-crosslinked compound expressed by a formula I wherein X, Y is a saturated, unsaturated 1-12C hydrocarbon group which may have ether linkage, may be different from each other, and may have a straight or branched, chain and at least one kind of hydroxy diphenyl sulfone derivative expressed by formula II wherein G1 -G6 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an aryl group, a substituted aryl group, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a carboxyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, an aralkyl group, an acyl group, an acyloxy group, an alkylene group, an alkenylene group. |
