PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve occupant protection ability which is exerted when a predetermined high load works on a vehicle side part by suppressing a vehicle outward directional shift of a side air bag to be expanded for protecting the head part and the chest part of an occupant. SOLUTION: A side air bag 16 is supported on a side door 12 side via the first supporting point P and the second supporting point Q, and the front end side of a belt line 20 in the side door 12 and the front end side of the side air bag 16 are connected together by means of a net 18. The net 18 is provided with a supporting point in the third supporting point R serving as the front end side of the belt line 20, and a predetermined tension line T is formed in the direction in which the third supporting point R and the second supporting point Q are connected together. Therefore, a vehicle outward directional shift of the side air bag 16 can be suppressed, and occupant protection performance can be improved further. |
