PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a macroporous chelate ion-exchange resin in which improved stability is provided, and ions of calcium, magnesium, strontium, and barium can be easily removed from brine of cations and metals such as nickel, copper, antimony, and zinc also can be efficiently removed from a flow of waste. SOLUTION: The macroporous chelate ion-exchange resin comprises copolymer composed of 86-94 wt.% of units derived from monovinyl aromatic monomer, 4-8 wt.% of units devived from divinyl aromatic monomer,, and 2-6 wt.% of unit induced from crosslinking agent containing oxygen, and the copolymer is made functional by aminoarkyl phosphonic acid groups or iminodiacetic groups. |
