PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing blanket for offset printing, in which a printing quality can be improved through a favorable pressure distribution during a printing process, and which is suitable for applying varnish and used for continuous manufacturing. SOLUTION: This printing blanket for offset printing is equipped with the surface 6 of a lithographic stone, a compressive layer 3, a reinforcing layer 1 having a low extendibility and a cloth layer 2, which is provided in opposite to the surface 6 of the lithographic stone. The compressive layer 3 is provided between the surface 6 of the lithographic stone and the reinforcing layer 1. By the above-mentioned printing blanket, especially due to the optimum pressure distribution obtained by the special arrangement of the compressive layer, an excellent printing quality is realized. In addition, this printing blanket is extremely suitable for applying varnish. |
