PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely perform the movement that an aged person or the like sits on a chair for a bathroom and performs washing or stands up from the chair for the bathroom by projectingly providing an almost U-shaped holdable handle on the outer surface of one side wall crossed with a short diameter among the side walls vertically provided around a seat surface. SOLUTION: Relating to this chair 1 for the bathroom for which the side walls 3 are vertically provided around the seat surface 2 in an almost elliptic shape in a plane view, among the side walls 3 vertically provided on the entire periphery of the seat surface 2, on the outer surface of one side wall 3 crossed with the short diameter, the handle formed by being bent in an almost U shape whose diameter is about 10 mm is projectingly provided. Then, while washing the body, at the time of washing a hip part, after tentatively raising the hip from the chair 1 for the bathroom, sitting on the chair 1 is performed again, however, by holding the handle 4 and supporting the body at the time, a standing operation is easily performed. Also, after washing, by stretching a hand from the crotch to the chair 1, hooking fingers to the handle 4 and drawing it toward the body, a sitting operation is safely performed. |
