<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a transmission by shortening the lateral width of a transmission case through a process of arranging and overlapping a bearing and a cylinder chamber and shortening a steering shaft. SOLUTION: A steering operation structure, a side gear capable of freely switching power transmission from a driving gear to the traveling position on the lower side by being engaged and disengaged in relation to the driving gear in a transmission case is fitted on a steering shaft so as to be freely slid, a piston member 41 is arranged on the outer end of the side gear so as to face it, the side gear is slid into the case by an advancing motion of the piston member, a side clutch is operated so as to be disengaged, and a side brake is brake-operated by a further sliding movement. In this case, a cylinder chamber 41a for housing the piston member 41 so that it may be freely slide in the axial direction is provided on the outer periphery of a bearing 44 for supporting both outer ends of the steering shaft.</p> |
