<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device which is compact and of a small power consumption. SOLUTION: Documents 4 stacked on a hopper table 2 are carried by a feed roller 31, a separation roller 33, etc., to be read at a reading part 52. As they are read, the documents 4 are decreased, and height of the hopper table 2 is adjusted to constantly keep a position of the uppermost surface of the documents 4 within a specified range. A control part 51 elevates a whole base table 1 by driving a motor 18 when the base table 1 is positioned under an upper position H, and rotates a cam 19 by driving a motor 21 when the base table 1 is positioned above the upper position H, thereby the hopper table 2 is rotated around an oscillation shaft 3.</p> |
