PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give mouth deodorizing effect, mouth odor preventing effect, sterilizing effect, and bacteria suppressing effect to an oral tool, by forming a chlorophyll layer comprising at least one of chlorophyll containing material or chlorophyll extracted therefrom on the outer periphery of the oral tool. SOLUTION: For instance, a chlorophyll layer 3 is formed on the outer periphery of a toothpick 2 to compose a surface covering product 1. The chlorophyll layer 3 is composed of a material containing chlorophyll, for instance, at least one of bamboo, grass, etc., and chlorophyll extracted from these materials. The chlorophyll layer 3 is formed within a range at a distance T from the tip end 4 of the toothpick 2. The distance T is enough only it is equal to the length for getting in between teeth when a matter stopped up between teeth and is preferably to be as one thirds long as the total length in the axis direction. Thereby pharmacological effect of chlorophyll, especially mouth deodorizing effect, sterilizing effect, and bacteria suppressing effect, is obtained as well as a toothpick function. |
