HOUSING CASE FOR MAGNETIC TAP CASSETTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case for a magnetic tape cassette which can prevent play of the tape reel of a magnetic tape cassette and also prevent troubles such as damage or the like even against excessive shocks and further, which is excellent in the putting-in and out manipulation of the cassette. SOLUTION: This case is provided with a connection means 5 by which a cover body 4 is connected to a housing case body 7 to be freely openable and closable by connecting the case body 7 and the cover body 4 with hinges, to hous a magnetic tape cassette 2 in the housing space of the case. A group of projections 38 formed of a plurality of projections 39 corresponding to at least the inside of a ring-form rib formed at the bottom face of the tape reel rotatably arranged in the cassette case body are provided on a bottom wall 31. The group 38 of projections are extended radially along almost the same direction with the radial direction of the tape reel to regulate the position of the tape reel against the case body 7.
