<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for decomposing fats and oils contained in wastewater efficiently by microorganisms by aerating the wastewater accommodated in a fats-and-oils-intercepting apparatus such as a grease-intercepting device. SOLUTION: An apparatus 19 for treating wastewater accommodated within a fats-and-oils-intercepting apparatus 28 is provided with a water tank 2, a microorganism formulation storage tank 8, a cation interfacial active agent storage tank 9, a nonion interfacial active agent storage tank 10, a controller 17, an air blower output-changeable apparatus 18, and an air blower 14. The controller 17 is provided with a timer having a timepiece function inside and controls drive of each of the apparatus. The treating apparatus 19 conducts a small quantities of aeration to the extent to which untreated wastewater does not flow out in a period of time when the wastewater flows into the intercepting apparatus 28. Then an aeration mode is changed and a large quantities of aeration capable of agitating the wastewater is conducted in a period of time when the wastewater does not flow into the intercepting apparatus 28. In the period when a large quantities of aeration is conducted, microorganisms are introduced into the wastewater to be treated.</p> |
