PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device for a car having the excellent workability of assembly and the high holding strength of a balance weight. SOLUTION: The door handle device for the car has a main body 1 with a pair of arms 10, 10' and a balance weight 2, in which one end has a mounting shaft 3 with a head, to which a flange 30 is formed, in the front end of a shaft section 33 while the other end has an inserting mounting shaft 4 and which is bridged and fixed between the arms 10, 10', a through-hole 5, into which the inserting mounting shaft 4 is penetrated, is bored to one arm 10, 10' while a fitting section receiving the shaft section 33 of the mounting shaft 3 with the head from an opening section to the side is formed to the other arm 10, 10', and an excess length section 31 permitting fitting to the fitting section is formed to the shaft section 33. The inserting mounting shaft 4 is inserted into the through-hole 5 from a fitted state to the fitting section in the excess length section 31, and movement in the direction of detaching of the inserting mounting shaft 4 is prevented by a clip 7 elastically engaged with the excess length section 31 while movement in the direction of detaching from the fitting section is obstructed by abutting against the arms 10, 10' of the flange 30 in the balance weight arranged between the arms 10, 10'. |
