PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject equipment designed to dispose of waste expanded resins containing organohalides represented by CFCs so as to decompose these halides stably and continuously. SOLUTION: This disposal equipment is made up of a hopper into which waste plastics crushed into a given size of blocks and containing organohalides are to be charged, a dry distillation unit connected via a pipe 3 to the bottom of the hopper and to discharge organohalide gas through treating the waste plastics under heating, and an organohalide decomposition unit to make the organohalide gas harmless through the thermal decomposition of the gas introduced from the dry distillation unit; wherein, a continuous quantitative feeder 4 to feed the dry distillation unit with the above waste plastics at a given amount each time while restraining the atmosphere from inflow is installed in the middle of the pipe 3.
