PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster which has an input part movable within a small range and can produce a high drive force. SOLUTION: A booster is composed of a sun sprocket 2 fixed to an output shaft 1, a rotary arm 3 fixed at its one end to the output shaft 1, and carrying at its other end a planetary sprocket 4 which is coupled the sprocket 2 through the intermediary of a chain 6, a planetary shaft 5 adapted to be rotated integrally with the sprocket 4, and rotatably supported thereto with a planetary shaft 7 at its eccentric position, a planetary gear 9 fixed to the rotary arm 3, and a planetary gear 10 fixed to the planetary shaft 7 and meshed with the planetary gear 9, and a drive arm 11 is fixed at its one end to the planetary shaft 7. A force applied to the drive arm is boosted by a gear ratio between the planetary gear 10 and the planetary gear 9 and through the levering principle, and accordingly, the rotary arm 3 is rotated around the sun sprocket 2. |
