A support console (1) used to hang a protective cover (7) from guttering on a builder has hooks that grips the guttering, a holder section (3) that grips the cover and a support section which slopes downwards to the rear of the console and extends around the outside of the guttering. The support section is formed by extending the holder section and these two sections form part of a single-piece construction.
