PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which does not spread on a recording paper and is prevented from penetrating into the inner part of a recording paper, and can be used for forming an image of high concentration and high saturation. SOLUTION: This composition is an ink composition comprising water, a colorant and particles, wherein gel particles formed by the reaction of a gelatin and a gelatin-curing agent are used as such particles. This image-recording method is a method which records an image on a recording paper by jetting ink drops from a head, wherein an ink composition comprising water, a colorant and gel particles obtained by curing a gelatin is utilized. |
