PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-accumulation concrete capable of accumulating a large quantity of cold heat. SOLUTION: Microcapsules containing a heat-accumulating material having a melting point of 0-28 deg.C are included in concrete. The skin of the microcapsule is preferably made of a melamine-formaldehyde resin and the solid ratio of the microcapsule in the solid component of the cold-accumulating concrete is preferably 5-50 wt.%. The inclusion of the microcapsules in the concrete may be carried out by mixing the microcapsules in the concrete or forming voids in the concrete and filling the voids with solid microcapsules. The cold- heat accumulating concrete is usable as a flooring material or wall material, etc., of a building. When cold heat is accumulated in the material, at night, a sufficient cooling of the building can be carried out in the daytime by the accumulated cold heat. |
