发明名称 LOW HYDROGEN TYPE COATED ELECTRODE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low hydrogen type coated electrode capable of improving the dielectric strength of coating, improving electrode burning resistance and securing the excellent performance of the low hydrogen type weld metal in the coated electrode having the excellent rearc property. SOLUTION: In the material added, by wt., 15-60% iron powder of 50μm or below in average grain size to the whole coating flux into a basic low hydrogen type coating flux, the quantity of an oxide in this iron powder is specified to be, by wt., 0.1-5.0% in terms of FeO, further the flow rate of iron powder is limited to be 25-45 sec/50 g, and moreover the quantity of P, S being impurities in iron powder is specified to be, by wt., 0.02% or below. By this way, the coated electrode having the excellent rearc property being the point at issue of the low hydrogen type electrode and moreover having the excellent dielectric strength of coating, electrode burning resistance and toughness of the weld metal.
