发明名称 POWDER COATING MATERIAL SUITABLE FOR USE IN ELECTROSTATIC FLUID IMMERSION METHOD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder coating material being capable of forming a thin film exhibiting excellent electric insulation through powder coating by an electrostatic fluid immersion method. SOLUTION: This powder coating material is the one which is coated for insulation by an electrostatic fluid immersion method, and has a particle diameter distribution satisfying the following requirements: (a) a volume average particle diameter of 10 to 20μm, (b) 25% or less in terms of a proportion in volume of particles having a diameter of 25μm or more based on all the particles and (c) 45% or less in terms of a proportion in number of particles having a diameter of 5μm or less based on all the particles, and has silica fine particles adhered on the surface of powder particles thereof. It is preferred that the silica fine particles are adhered on the surface in an amount of 0.2 to 0.8 pts.wt., and that the average particle diameter of primary particles of the silica particles is 50 nm or less.
