<p>The invention concerns a one-way radiopaging portable receiver (1) designed to inform motorists about available spaces in public parking lots. The receiver memory (11) contains, for each parking lot, the number of currently available spaces in said lot, and the estimated rate at which these spaces are likely to be filled. The receiver central unit (8) is adapted to update the stored data on the basis of the radio messages received, and to compute and display the forecasts concerning available spaces for the desired parking lot based on the stored data.</p> |
