The arrangement has a base plate to which at least one running rail (8) is attached, a cover (10) above the rails, an equipment base (2) which fits under the cover and is guided on the rails by one or more bearings and is movable with respect to the base plate. The cover is rigid, has at least one slot (9), is parallel to the running rail and is laterally offset with respect to it. The equipment base engages the cover through the slot or slots. At least one running rail is let into the base plate.
