The automatic representation method for an automat uses a source code of a structured programme language containing a variable. A given variable is selected and the source code is searched to locate this variable, which is altered to represent a condition transition. The selection of a variable, its location within the source code and its alteration is repeated until the full automat is represented by the source code.
