Balanced pressure valve unit for fuel injection pump

The valve unit (32) has a fuel feed valve (31) held sliding in a valve seat (5). A valve body (35) is positioned on the intake side of the feed valve. A balanced pressure valve spring (13) loads the valve body in closing direction. A residual pressure of set value is maintained in the injection tube (24) by opening the valve body against the spring load, when the valve is closed. The valve body has a conical seat section (36) born on a balanced pressure valve seat (34) formed in the seat valve. A slide section (37) integral with the conical seat section, is in contact with the spring. The slide section can slide with the feed valve in the feed valve seat.
