PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of stains on a plate by immersing the lower rollers of paired rollers and squeezing rollers into a developing soln. and bringing a rubbing member wet with the developing soln. into contact with the squeezing roller. CONSTITUTION:A shower nozzle 17 which supplies the developing soln. to the rubbing member 16 consisting of a brush roller rotating in contact with the upper squeezing roller 15a is provided. The paired rollers 14 and lower squeezing roller 15b of a development accelerating means 13 are so constituted that the respective lower parts thereof are immersed into the developing soln. in a developing tank 18. The brush roller 13, the paired rollers 14 and the squeezing rollers 15a, 15b are so constituted that these rollers can be operated at all times or at prescribed time intervals by a driving mechanism and control means while the photosensitive planographic printing plate is not processed. Since the lower parts of the paired rollers 14 and the lower squeezing roller 15 are immersed into the developing soln. in such state, the fatigue of the developing soln. by air is lessened and, therefore, the generation of the precipitate in the developing soln. is decreased. The cause for staining is decreased in this way. |
