The server has a filter database with profile information about the recipient and trigger criteria, a call generator that establishes communication with the recipient in accordance with the profile information, and a filter that correlates the incoming mail with the trigger criteria for determining which of the mail is critical mail. The call generator then notifies the recipient that critical mail has been received. |
